2026 FCGF Luthiers Competition
It is with great Pleaseure that we announce the results of the first Felixstowe Classical Guitar Festivals Luthier Competition.
Let it be known that Hendrid den Dulk atttained first place and is recognised as a maker of fine classical guitars!
We hope this helps you on your way in what we feel sure will be a long and illustrious career.
The runner up was Alan Eggleden, who made a lovely guitar. We wish Alan every sucess in the future.
I’d like to thank James Lister for keeping me together in the weeks leading up to the festival and for his exemplary work during.
2026 FCGF Composers Competition
It is with great Pleasure that we announce the results of the first Felixstowe Classical Guitar Festivals Composers Competition.
Alexander Roche won the first place with ‘Kan Rag Diwedh An Haf’ the second of three sketches. A truly beautiful piece, Alex is working a performance video out for us as I write this.
The competition was hard fought with 33 entries. the top ten are below.

A compilation of the sheet music is avaialble on request up until the end of the week. Please email info@felixstoweclassicalguitarfestival.co.uk ,there is a £15 charge that helps pay for the festival.
The Competition does not have an entrance fee. Sunday 13th is themed around Composition. Buy a ticket & make a day of it!

Terms and Conditions
Felixstowe Classical Guitar Festival is owned by Felixstowe Guitar Conservatoire.
If you buy or are given a ticket or take part in our competitions, you accept these terms and conditions. We cannot guarantee our acts. Our lineup acts are human beings and occasionally life throws them a curve ball. Last minute cancellations happen and we will do our best to replace those acts.
We offer no refunds once a ticket has been purchased.
Tickets are non-transferable. We have multiple events running concurrently and ticket numbers reflect this, seating is allocated on a first come, first served basis.
No entrance unless you have a valid ticket. Late arivals to performance will only ba admitted at an appropriate break.
Re Luthiers Competition. We will not be held responsible for damage incurred to an instrument prior to or during the course of the competition. Instruments must be collected by the end of the Festival.
All breakages must be paid for.
No recording unless given explicit permission, By entering the festival you understand and agree to possibly appering in photos/videos for social media promoting the event in future.
Anti-social behavour, causing disruption, putting property at risk or mistreatment of our staff or vendors will result in ejection.
No under 16s without supervision.
The festival organiser holds no liability for personal loss, theft, or injury.
No unauthorised trading. No Smoking/Vaping.
Only food and drink purchased at the event may be consumed at the event.
